Winter weddings are not what I’m used to, but very exciting to try a few shots out in the cold weather. The warmth inside with this couple is shown above with a great story to cherish forever. This was shot downtown Halifax the day before new years and a great way to start the new year with a highlights reel. Highlights film above.

Elizabeth & Michal – Captain’s House – Chester, Nova Scotia
Elizabeth & Michal (link above) ended up having a wedding at what I would now call my favorite venue. The sun set so perfectly which gave the speeches light that we all dream for . I had some fun shots on a boat, and the Captain’s house is a place I would love to go back to!

Lauren & Jacob – Best Western Hotel (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia)
Lauren and Jacob (above) were a great couple and hired me to film their wedding last year. The church was lit up pretty well which gave me the idea to give them a trailer to show to their friends and family. I loved every minute of the day, and I hope the best for them in the future.

Lacey & Chad – Antigonish Cathedral, Nova Scotia
Lacey & Chad (above) booked me through a referral from a bride last year named Leah! This was filmed in Antigonish, Nova Scotia (above), and I knew a lot of people there since I am from near that area. I did an engagement video for them and played it at the wedding, and got some great reactions from the crowd. I was happy with how it felt like a wedding from home, and seeing a fiddle was not uncommon for a wedding down that way. I could hear accents all over the place, and not sure if I sound like that but it’s definitely a friendly crowd!
